W124 Fuel filter to fuel line hose
W124 E320 1995 wagon. replacing fuel filter, fuel screen, and fuel pump.
i have all the parts and hoses except the one hose i have in this picture attached (hose that the yellow arrow is pointing at). this is going from the fuel filter to i think the fuel line. But i can't find this hose anywhere? anyone have a part number or place where this can be sourced. Pelican parts does not have it i called them already. thanks.

The crimp collar can be ground off, the hose removed to expose a barbed fitting. Quality fuel hose can be clamped with quality clamps onto the barbed fitting.
I don't know of a source for a new hose assembly.

I would check with a dealer using your VIN. I have run into the same issue a few times lately where the part is still available and is applicable to my car in the Parts Information System (replacement system for the EPC).

That the hose off and take it to a local hydraulic hose shop. They will replicate the hose for you with the proper hose.

completed the job and even took one hose to a shop that was literally disintegrated.
replaced both fuel pumps. all rubber hoses tank screen fuel filter fuel regulator (in front of the car) and some of the rubber bushings that hold all the pieces together. car is running great now.. but check engine light is still coming on with 21 and 5. Very possible it is teh MAF (it's the original). the prices look ludcrious online for a new maf $700+ ??? Peclian is selling the bremi one for like ~$140. Do i really need to shell out ~$740 for the bosch one? Wiring harness looks ok and car is driving fine overall but i know this is a part that will just start to get worse and worse. |

Bosch parts these days are not the Bosch parts of prior decades. You’d be just as good with burnt and your wallet will have enough for 3 more if one fails early. Have you sprayed any mass air flow cleaner on the hot wire? Previous owner use a k&n air filter?
