My friend is buying a 99 SLK, any problem he needs to know about?

Hey everyone. I finally convinced my friend to get rid of his silly expedition and buy a real car. He really wants an expedition and is currently looking at 2 99s with sport packages. One has 19k and the other has 33k. One is an auto and the other is a manual. I searched the site and couldn't find anything that has gone with these cars except some trouble with the air intake and EGR getting dirty. Is there anything else I need to know about these cars before I give him the go ahead? Thanks.

Latch switches at the header of the windsheild stick causing the top to be inop. There are updated switches for this, however, removing the plastic/rubber covers seems to stop it. Trunklid open and trunklid closed switches will stick as well. Otherwise, the SLK seems to be a pretty solid little car.
