I am trying to locate the subject fan clutch and have recieved different information from various vendors. Some vendors indicate that the design has been changed and that I need to buy the fan blade as well. While others still have the original one available. Does anyone have any further information regarding this item. I have also considered a used one as well. Thanks for your help.

Do not use a used fan clutch for you have a used one. Just buy a new one and bolt it on. The task is easy if you have the special tool to hold the fan from turning while loosening the 8mm allen on the front.

Thanks for the information. I can get a new one which will replace my old one and use my fan blade or I can purchase the new design and new fan blade. Will a new replacement for my old one perform well if not, what are the reasons for the new design.

Whether or not you will need to replace the fan also depends on your engine number. The fan blade will have to be replaced if you have the earlier engine number. Difference ?
The number of mounting holes on the clutch to the fan blade . . . Paula
