W123 230E - Seats replacement advice?!
Hi all,
has anyone replaced seats in a W123 from a different W-series? I have sloppy leathertte seats and will be looking to find some donor leather seats from a breakers (here in the UK) I just need to find out which seats I can slot in - versus - which seats I may need to mod? thanks in advance! >Joe

You do not state year and this is important. After 7/79 the seat frame number 126 910 07 36 (left front example) is used on every 123 and 126 chassis. Since this is what bolts to the floor anything sitting on it should work. At least they will bolt up.

Model number & Year - sorry!
Hi - this is a 1983 230E - UK spec. 123.223.22.164603. Very basic with blue leatherette.
Does this help? Is it only the W126 that we know of - or does anyone know of *slight* mods I can do to get other seats to fit.. I suppose I want as decent a range of options as possible - but are W126 seats good? I know my W124 were *fabulous*. thanks again
