Question Recurrent vacuum problem with trunk 1999 Mercedes

Where do I find notices regarding recurrent problems for a car still under warranty?
My 1999 Mercedes SL is in for service for the 3rd time in six months for a recurring problem of failing to vacuum down the trunk. The handle to the trunk stays out until I apply pressure to the top of the trunk for 10 or more seconds and then it vacuums down. However, as soon as you hit a bump the handle releases and the red warning light inside the car comes on. Failure to see this has caused my battery to run down numerous times. Now, the vacuum releases the trunk handle for no reason while the car is parked overnight in the garage.

Latch time. There are also a few TSB's on this.
