Where can I get new plastic vents to replace the ones which have come apart. Left, right, have several cracks but are still in the dash doing the job, but now the center unit has completely fallen apart. WHY does any maker use plastic which usually cracks after some years and lots of southern heat and sun. I would not have minded if it were say 1 lb. heaver, but lasted!

Car runs great at 185K but the dash is cracked and now the vents are breaking up. Are these available at sources other than the dealer, for the DIY car person?
