1973 450 SEL High Fuel Consuption
Hey all~
I figure I get between 7.5 to 9 MPG and I was wondering what do I need to check to reduce this or is it something that I should expect with that year and model. Can it be the fuel filter? Can it be the injectors? Is it something with timing and mixture adjustment? Ideas? |

FUEL mixture is the place to start!! This car should get 12-15 mpg.
ALSO when was the last time that you had the valves adjusted?? Supposed to be done EVERY 10K miles!
