I have started having hard cold starts lately. Also I saw a little white
smoke after a cold start. What are these symptoms of ?

How many miles? And does the engine run OK after it starts?

120,000 and it runs fine after it starts. Pumping the gas a couple of times while the car is turning over seems to help.

Sounds like a fuel pressure leak down something in that area. Also could be oil leaking into the cyl from worn valve guides.
