Motor dies (MB 300CE 89')

Hello guys,

hope someone can help me.

Here what I have for a problem :
The starting of the engine is OK, but after 15 min (cruising or not) it starts to splutter. Then after 2 or 3 mins of spluttering it stops running itself and there is no way to restart the engine again.

I have to wait at least 2 hours before retrying to start it and then it begins again (splutter, etc. etc.)

I need your help. What can I do/check to have my MB back for cruising.
