I have a 1972 280Se Chassis:108.018
Well the differential's leaking oil from the middle. Can't figure out:is it the seal or the boot? How do I tell the differnce? If its a boot, what do I do? |

Either steam clean the area off with a powerful cleaner and hot water or guess that it is most likely the boot. There are some companies that make a quick boot that I have seen work. It has a split in the middle.
