I want to fit an LPG conversion to my 1995 C200. I have done several conversions before but not for the last 15 years. Modern systems use multipoint injection for the gas to overcome the backfiring problem caused by explosive mixtures in manifolds not intended to contain fuel mixture (petrol injection engines). Has anyone at all any information at all about these systems.
It would seem that very few people have this type of system on any car and I cannot find anything to say that the £950 ($1500) injection conversion kit gives better performance than a standard £450 ($650) conversion kit. |

I do not know much about this but I do know that in the US, we have many cars/trucks with this conversion. ASE actually offers a ceritfication for it.
