1987 300 E a/c blows hot at stand still HELPPP

Hay guys can anybody seem to help me with this one. It,s hot so i got my car gassed up (freon)Car blows lots of cold air that day into a couple of weeks.Low and behold the car starts blowing hot air once were on a stand still. Took the car back to see if the freon leaked out .No was the answer to this question. I really don,t know how the aux fan works is this supposed to come on as you turn on the a/c ? Cause if so it,s comming on now and then could this be my problem ? HELPPPP
