Any recommendation on flush procedure for turbo diesel engines ?
Would like to do more then just drain and replace with MB coolant. Planning on replacing thermostat at the same time. Thanks for your help. |

If you want to drain the block, you can take out one of the threaded plugs on the side of the block to drain it. The radiator has a drain built in.

Thanks, Benzmac !
What is this I hear about some sort of a MB flush stuff that can run in the engine for about 15-minutes then drained/flushed before refilling with MB coolant ? Also, would it be ok to use the new brown/red Prestone as a replacement coolant i/o of the MB coolant ? |
