Bilstein lists two settings for shocks for a W123, "C" for comfort and "HD" for firmness. Does anyone have any recommendations for which way to go?
I have used the "standard" Bilsteins on my Saab 900T and my current Volvo 850T5 Wagon and the ride is just right. I use the 84 300CD as a high mile highway commuter. |

I would go with the HD shocks, they are a little stiffer, but they will help compensate for slightly worn components. Also they will last longer since it will take more time to reach that "mushy" state. Hope this helps.
