I have purchased an '86 MB300E and cannot make the fog light work. I suspect it is because the car is from Texas and fog lights may not be legal there.
Is there an easy way to hook them up again, and how do I turn them on? Thanks. |

'86 300E should have Fog lights host in the inner(grill side) of the headlight, and should be yellow. To turn on the fog light, simply turn the light switch to the right either first(parking lights) or second(low beams), and pull the switch one click(fog light, front), and second click to turn on the rear fog light.
Note: American spec should have rear fog light ONLY on the LEFT side. Hope this helps... Andy Kuo '92 400SE 70,288KM |
