Where to start looking (dash light problem).
I pushed the knob/button to reset my trip odometer last night and I lost all my dash and console lights. The only light I have is the "EIN" light on my Becker radio (the 'idiot' lights and turn signals still work). I checked the fuse and replaced it with no luck. Any suggestions before I try to pull the dash and see what physically happened when the knob was pushed?
Thanks very much. Hal 1984 280SEL (euro import) |

On some models the trip reset button also serves as the potentiometer knob. Possibly you turned as you pushed and effectively dimmed your lights. Try twisting it both directions, then go full closckwise for the brightest setting. See if you dash lights return.
