Hi:
I have a friend who lives in Japan who bought brand new the US spec MB 300E in 1990 seeks advice how to remove the factory installed anti-theft device from the car. It has been malfuncting and MB JAPAN has no idea regarding its device. Thanks in advance, Jack |

It is under the passenger side foot well under the plastic cover that you see when you remove the floor mat. Just unplug the two plugs and forget it.
