Hello, I have an '86 190E 2.3-16V and recently the A/C compressor clutch ball bearings locked up on me and ripped my belt apart. I want to attempt to replace it myself and was wondering what type of tools I need. The car currently has no freon in it. Do I need special tools to replace the A/c compressor. Any help is appreciated, thank you.

You will have to flush the system with some special solvent an probably replace the manifold hose. You will need a new drier and swithes and possibly an expansion vavle. We carry these parts in the partshop
