Hello all
The shutoff actuator on my 1982 300D Turbo is gone, taking a long time to shut the engine and leaking oil into the vacuum lines. I bought the part and tried to replace the defective one yesterday but the oil filter housing seems to be in the way. As a small metal tab needs to be inserted in a slot inside the injector pump body, I am unsure if this can be done without removing the oil filter housing. Has anyone done this replacement on this type of car? Is it possible without removing the filter housing? Any info appreciated Nicolas ------------------ 1982 300D - http://members.xoom.com/nicodore/ |
