Hello,

I was wondering about the boost pipe from the turbo backside to the fuel injection pump. That hose seems to get clogged up a lot, and it seems that switchover valve has quite a bit of resistance in it...I remember some tech once telliing me to bypass it directly to the fuel pump for more power...is this a wise move, or is it likely to cause damage? I understand the fuel pump has a built in failsafe for over-revving?

I would not bypass it for it is not the over-rev that it stops, but the over-boost!!
