I purchased this station wagon from a family member for $5000.00 with only 90,000 miles on it. The car has lot of problems,some of them are.
1. Sometime it feels that the car does not have enough power.On a uphill road it acts like a 4cy car.
2. The car's 4 matic system come on regularly on perfect roads.
3. Front inner cv joint boot is completely torn out with hardly any grease in it.
4.Sway bar right side mounted end is rusted out with torn rubber mounts.

And the question is???

Question#1: What could be the best explaination for the car not having enough power, given the fact that it engages into 4 wheel drive intermittenly under good road conditions?
Question#2. Where should I find sway bar and its mounting brackets?

We can on occasion get used parts if needed. You can submit a parts inquiry and se will check on the sway bar for you . I would get new mounting bars and bushings. We can get those as well.

I don't see any 4-matics in the Atl area.
