Auto-gearbox sealer??
I'm sitting here, looking through a catalog with all sorts of fluids and maintanence parts for cars.
Among the wast sortiment, there is an " Automatic gearbox sealer". I guote: (tranlated from danish) "Seals leaks in automatic gearboxes and cleans the transmission. Provides a smoother gearshift. protects against hardened and shrinked gaskets. Add for every 10000 miles to have a steady silent driving experience. Contains destillates(sp?) petroleum (CAS 64742-58-1) 60-100%" I have a W124 300E which has a slight leak from the auto. Is this stuff for real or are we talking snake oil? Freestyler

I have used some of these products with some degree of success. Remember that they are being added to offset an existing problem.
If your trans is leaking from the pan, replace it and install a new filter why you are there. Several companies offer these types of products- Here's one: Golden Eagle Trans additive and also Valvoline the oil company does as well: MaxLife ATF Haasman
