doors unlock when you switch car off?
I've noticed that when I'm driving and lock the car doors of my 190E, when I switch the ignition off they stay locked.
BUT, (only) when I remove the key, the vacuum pump operates for half a second. Why is that? Is it supposed to unlock the doors when you remove the key (like a Jag) - that would be neat. later Russ

I've never had this occur on the 380SE, when I've taken the key out. Maybe it's a feature that is unique to W201 (being a newer chassis than a W126?)
