I got my engine back in. I'm definitely not a pro. By the time I was finsihed shoving this and pushing that,all my tags I put on so I could connect evrything back right soaked either in Diesel fuel, oil,antifreeze or WD-40, came off. I had a big problem sticking the oil filter housing and cooler and lines (which I removed as one to avoid breaking the nuts) back in.
Does anybody know if there are pictures/ diagrams of 83 240D engine compartment? On the internet? Or in a manual I can buy, or catalog? Or dealer manual?
