Mercedes E 430

A friend of mine is interested in buying a 2000 E430 with around 40,000 miles on it. I was interested if you guys had an opinon on the car - ( quality, reliability, overall). Also what things to look for? Does the car have any major problems? Thanks in advance for your help.
