I damaged my side view miror backing out of the garage.

The dealer sells the internal bracket arm and the plastic housing (factory painted) and was wondering if replacement is a sraight forward do it yourself project.

I'm pretty handy and was specifically wondering if all the attachment bolts are accessible by prying off the small speaker and / or removing the small pry off panel under it?

How is the plastic attached as well?

Any advice / hints will be much appreciated.

Its attached from the outside. Remove the cover (watch for the led wires) and remove the 3 mounting skrews, unplug it and reverse for install.
