starter
When i replaced the battery in my 350 sl, the starter runs when the switch is in the run position plus the start position. Is this a bad switch? Thanks, harry Several days later, lots of people reading this but no answers. No one has a answer for me? Do I maybe have a bad or stuck relay some place?

This sounds like a faulty switch to me. Or, you have some sort of feed back going on. I have not heard of this exact problem before.

I would disconnect the trigger wire for the starter then connect the battery. If the starter continues to run, it is faulty.
