ASR Defeat Switch Installation?

I would like to drive with a ASR defeat switch on my auto next winter, it almost eliminates take off traction in the snow. I’ve read most of the ASR forum messages, however I not sure about if there is:

1. A defeat switch application that I can use on my 92-400E and has anybody installed one on there 400E? I know there is a switch you hot rods use on your 93+ 500E’s, does anybody know if this switch will work on my 400E?

2. Is it a difficult DIY job, from the previous post its not clear how difficult the job is, and it was noted certain after market wiring did not match the MB wiring color?

Thanks, enjoy your drive-timreid
