Hi All,

My 1989 230E relocks all the doors after a few seconds of unlocking. The car is not fitted with an alarm system. Sitting inside the car, I can hear a long drawn out buzz somewhere in the rear after the relock. Sometimes while driving with all the doors unlocked, the doors all lock when I turn off the engine and remove the key from the ignition. Where should I look? There is serious risk of a lock out - like somebody opens the doors, places the key on the drivers seat, closes the door and before the know it...
