I am still looking for the hard acrylic/plastic clip-on thingy which does not seem to be available in Australia for Mercedes cars, but is available for most Japanese and Korean cars only. All I can get here is the stick-on sticky tape variety for the headlamps and also for the front bonnet, but they are too thin and not much protection. If anyone can help me with this, please reply and I need to know the cost for you to send me one. We have the carbras here, but they are too ugly and only come in black. My car has a light blue/green colour and the bra stands out too much.
Mercedes Benz 1994 Euro C180 still going strong, but not fast enough! It needs a superchip if I can get one to boost to 180kw? |

Check out www.clearbra.com
The product Works...better than the Old School style Hard plastic covers. Also Clearbra uses the 3m Film..With a $1000.00 Warranty that IF a Rock does Chip The Paint or break a headlite well they Will pay You Up To $1000.00 I Have The Product and I Have Not had any problems with it...I Put The Film on after two fog lites and a XEON Headlite were broken by rocks...So Far so Good! |

Thanks Mark for your advice. I have already bought the film from a local company here and its the same as clearbra or stonguard. Its the 3M film too. I was told not to put it on until after about 90 days or 6 months after a new respray job to allow the new and thinner coat of paint to harden and set properly. So I will be putting it on one fine weekend if the weather is fine. Cheers!
