Question 300SL Stalling

Mystery!: Still trying to determine why my 1991 300SL stalls periodically when I remove my foot from the gas. Oxygen sensor has been replaced so now I am looking at the crankshaft position sensor and fuel pump relay. Anything else?

Where, pray tell, do I find these items and are they plug in items that a dummy can handle or do I need to return to my crack mechanic??

If nothing else...

May as well see what error codes may be stored in the injection and ignition controllers. Check pins 3 and 8 of your cars diagnostic controller, respectively. Steve Brotherton wrote an article on codes: http://www.peachparts.com/Wikka/EngineControls

and there are many posts explaining the "blink" method of code retrieval. If you find codes and post them, I will look-up their meanings.
