Re occuring abs light on 94 C280
Abs light comes on sometimes when I start my car. Does this mean my engine wire harness is going bad?

the following are possibilities
the abs light should come on when you initially startup the car as it is part of the system to check that the abs is working-it should go off once the the engine has started up. if it comes on while driving then you either have a faulty ovp relay or its fuse. also possible is the the abs sensor fitted to the the hub of the wheels. |

Check the part number of your OVP before you do anything else. If the last four digits are 52 45 and it's made in Austria, replace it. The new one should be a 67 45. Good luck

The other cause of the ABS light coming on after a few miles (but always resets if the ignition is turend off and the engine restarted) is one tyre either underinflated or the wrong size.
