New computer chip without speed limit etc...
I have seen on many web sites where there are computer chips that remove the speed limits and improve performance. Has anyone done this in here and if so what was the result? What are the pro's and con's of doing this? Any thoughts and feed back would be appreciated. This would be done to my 1994 E420.
Thanks, Allan

I had it done to my 500E, the only good thing about it is that when you are shifting from 2nd, 3rd then drive manually while racing or any other reason, you can take the rpms very high. Ive taken mine up to 7,000 and thats my limit. But overall i dont think there is any other type of gain. I even think its because of my chip that my transmission got messed up lately(but im not possitive).
