W124 Winshield Wiper Problem
I have a 88 300E and last week my windshield wiper motor died. I replaced the motor today and when I turn the switch I just hear a click and nothing happens. The motor only turns when I twist the knob all the way and hold it (if I let go it will stop working). Does anyone have any advice?

I think your multi function switch is shot. The one that controls your wipers, sprayers, turn signals, etc. I thought mine was bad last summer and researched the replacement. I think the part was like $125. To replace I believe you have to pull the steering wheel, which involves using care not to deploy the air bag.

But my turn signals and sprayers work fine. Wouldn't they all not work if it was the multifunction switch?
