Automatia Trans

INSTALLED AN 85 300 TURBO W/ AUTOMATIC IN MY 81 300D. WORKS PRETTY GOOD SO FAR, BUT THE 81 TRANS HAS A LINEAR ELEC CONNECTOR AND THE 85 HAS A ROUND ELEC CONNECTOR ON THE LEFT SIDE OF TRANS. CAN U HELP WITH AN EXPLANATION OF WHAT GOES WHERE? ONE CONTACT MUST BE FOR THE KICK DOWN AND ONE MUST BE FOR THE TORQ CONV LOCK-UP.

The kickdown connector is at the tail end of the transmission and the 722.3 and 722.4 transmissions don't have a torque converter lock-up feature.

You're probably looking at the neutral start switch and reverse light switch unit.
