I am considering the purchase of a 1993 300. Can a dealer determine if the head gasket and wiring harness were replaced from the VIN? Does this only apply to repairs made by MB dealers, or will repairs made by independent mechanics show on the database? I have the VIN, can someone on this forum run this check?
