My 2000 ML 430 displayed a high oil level indicator on the display below the speedometer on my way home today. It was also shifting roughly. The rough shifting only lasted a few minutes, but when I got home, I checked the oil level and it was indeed high. The car only has 2000 miles on it, and I have never added oil. What could cause this? I am very concerned. Thanks for any input. Nick |

The high oil level could be a problem where another fluid was sucked into the crankcase. How? I don't know. I'd call the dealer and find out what they want you to do!!! ------------------ Benzmac: 1981 280GE SWB 1987 16V ASE CERTIFIED MASTER AUTO TECHNICIAN SERVICE MANAGER FOR 14 BAY FACILITY MERCEDES SPECIALIST 8 YRS PARTNER IN MERCEDESSHOP.COM |
