92 sl 500-Location of Fuel filters

Rather stupid question to ask , i know that the secondary fuel filter is located under a plastic cover , near the rear right potion (beside the fuel pumps). I am told the primary fuel filter is under the hood , need help loacting it and if some could confirm that there is a primary fuel filter in the RL 129s ,
