Production Quantities plus VIN

I've searched the archives and to no avail. I am trying to find out by using a VIN number the production date of an 89 560 SL I'm looking at.

I would like to know when and where it came off the line and how many were made before and after?

Any ideas? Thanks in advance for the help!
