Production Quantities plus VIN
I've searched the archives and to no avail. I am trying to find out by using a VIN number the production date of an 89 560 SL I'm looking at.
I would like to know when and where it came off the line and how many were made before and after? Any ideas? Thanks in advance for the help!

You can tell the production sequence, but I don't think production date or total production number are found on the VIN, only through MB archives.
