Which Receiver-Drier?
I need to replace the receiver-drier in my '86 300E and I see that there are generally 2 available: one made by Fligor for about $42 and another made by ACM:Germany for about $70.00. Is there a practical difference between the two? Am I getting more drying capacity with the more expensive one, or is it just all that extra shipping expense to get it here from Germany?

Fligor is made in Brazil & is OK.
The German made by ACM should be Hansa whitch is the OE brand.

While Fligor is probably the best of the aftermarket driers, the fit and finish of OE parts are the difference. They probably have the same amounts of the same desicant.
