24 hour time on 2000 s500 :(
I Cannot seem to change the time on the dashboard of this 2000 s500 to anything other then army time or 24hour time. Although I can hardly believe MB would make the car like this, my options on how to fix this are running out! I have used the the steering wheel controls to change the time, but it simply cycles from 0 hours to 24 and I cannot find anything to make it standard time.
Please help. |

I dont know about your model...
but my 380 sel _only_ has 24-hour time.
Hope yours can change and you can figure it out.

At first I thought you were just missing the appropriate area to do the change from 12 to 24 hour time in the intrument cluster. But now I believe that the change from 12 to 24 is done in the cluster ONLY on cars without COMAND.
On your car, I believe the change is made in the COMAND unit, not the intrument cluster. I believe you need to push the "system" button on the COMAND unit, and follow the path where the time zone change is made. It may be useful to check out the COMAND operating book and check out the intructions there. Gilly |
