300e Where does this part go?
I have found a plastic part in the boot of my recently aquired 1992 300e. Part number 124 684 2118. It is obviously something that fits in the interior, as it is the same color. The part is 6cm by 5cm, rounded on the on side and fork shaped on the other side.
Any suggestions?

It sounds like the cover for the flux capicitor.

The MB parts CD says it's a covering for your left side mechanical seat adjuster.
If you don't have mechanical seats... then that might not be right.
