Cleaning MFI
Are there any petrol tank aditives that are specific for cleaning a Mechanical fuel injection system, or will ones for an EFI system work just the same?

Yes, fuel injection cleaner is fuel injection cleaner. In fact anything that is safe for electronic fuel injectors should certainly be safe for mechanical. The mechanical fuel injector is simply a nozzle while electronic ones are actually solenoid valves with close tolerances.

ok, well I ordered some Redlineoil SL-1 Fuel Cleaner (I'm amazed we even have a Redlineoil online store down here). Hopfully I get it on friday
