In a 140 it's behind the engine in the engine bay. Takes some doing to take it out or so it seems.
You checked the fuse but have you REPLACED the fuse? Sometimes they look fine but have a hairline crack. More common on the old ceramic fuses than the new plastic fuses. Sixto 95 S420 91 300SE 87 300SDL 83 300SD
