95 c36 amg question

my 95 c36 amg went dead while i was driving. i took it to the shop and they replaced the crank position sensor and the wiring harness. It still does'nt turn on. The tech, said that the bad harness caused the ecm to go bad. He said something about no ground signal on the ecm. Does this sound correct ?? I would appreciate any feedback. Thanks

Could be. The wiring harnesses were still suspect on 1996 models.
