My SRS Light came on about 2 months ago and is still on. Took it to my mechanic and he said that it was the crash sensor, $1200.
He said to not worry about it for the airbags will still inflate in a collision. Only Mercedes is not liable now if it does not go off since the light is on. Does anyone know of anyone who had their airbag inflate in an accident even when their SRS light was on? Should I be worried from 1 - 10? 10 being very worried that they don't work. Thanks. ------------------ '89 420 SEL '90 300 SEL |
