300e transmission flood
My son parked his 300e and noticed that transmission fluid was pouring on the ground. When we added more it pours straight out.
The trans works but havn't been able to find the source of the leak although it appears to be coming from the front passenger side of the tranny. (car is on its way to a shop) Is there a front seal and if so, what does it mean when it lets go?? |

This sounds suspiciously like the seal on the dipstick tube where it joins the case.

problem solved
The pan gasket split. I just replaced it and the transmission seems to be fine, thank heavens.
