What is the best weight Mobil One oil to use in our 1994 C-220? Also, my Benz dealer says they don't sell an adapter to remove the oil filter cap. He suggested Snap-On or just use a standard oil filter strap wrench. Is this correct? It seems to me this would be a common piece as the filter cover is notched to accept an adapter? Thanks

The best motor oil recommendations you can get are in your owners manual. The SAE grade ("weight") is based on the ambient temperatures the car will see on cold start over the time period that the oil will be in the car.

You should be able to find a 3/8" drive "cap socket" filter tool at most autoparts stores. Take a correct filter with you or find the correct filter at the parts store and use it as a template to match the cap socket.
