Car Stalled in the rain

Hi

I am driving an 88 260E with M103 engine (UK Spec) in Malaysia. This morning it was raining very heavily, and I was driving to work from home (distance approx 20 km) My car stalled at least 5 times, whilst on the journey. Each time, I have to put on my hazard lights, and crank-start the engine a few times, before it starts.

I have had this car for 3 years now, and I have not had such problem, until lately. I seem to notice that I have had such problem after I have changed the distributor cap and rotor in April 2003.

What do you guys think I should troubleshoot this symptom? Any suggestion is welcome.

TIA

Regards
Lim

Soundsd like either the cap or the wires are bad.
